Reviewer Guideline

The articles that successfully pass the referee evaluation in JCSC are published. We carry out this process with the support of expert researchers in the field. Our journal adopts the double-blind refereeing model.

Referees evaluate the articles independently of the ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religious belief and political philosophy of the authors. They should not have any conflicts of interest with the authors and/or financial supporters of the research. They should reach an impartial judgment as a result of their evaluations.

The Referee Evaluation Process works as follows:

  • Log in to the journal system from the login area.
  • Select your referee role.
  • Start the process by clicking on the publication you were invited to.
  • You can access the full text of the publication in the Files section.
  • After reviewing the article, fill out the evaluation form. If you deem it necessary, upload the evaluation file.
  • Each referee who accepts the referee invitation must fill out an evaluation form and declare to us their acceptance, revision or rejection opinions regarding the article, definitely providing concrete and scientific justifications.

Our journal's expectations from referees during the review process are as follows:

  • Does the article contain original, up-to-date and innovative information?
  • Is the title sufficient for the study? Does the abstract clearly cover the content of the article? Are the keywords compatible with the study?
  • Does the method of the study have integrity? Are there any methodological errors in the study?
  • Does the study conduct a sufficient literature review? Is the discussion section of the study sufficient?
  • Is the use of academic language sufficient?
  • Do the results of the study overlap with the findings?
  • Are there errors in the reference indication and bibliography?

We would like to thank all our referees who contributed to our journal and the scientific world.
